Day 6 of 30 – The Prototype

It’s been 6 days already and I still don’t have anything to show 🫥

Or do I? 😜

Well, I’ve been doing a lot of experimentation with the UI/UX 🤫

I want it to feel fresh and at the same time familiar, intuitive 🤓

I want it to be unique, delightful to use, satisfying 🥹

I want the design itself to be a piece of art, worth staring a thousand times 😵‍💫

I’m also awaiting if Apple is going to change the design language of the iOS in the upcoming WWDC 🧐

and of course I’ll also have to include some of those shiny new iOS 18 features 🤩

I have such high standards for this app that it’s again preventing me from moving forward 😤

The perfectionist in me should turn a blind eye for now 🫣

I would have to settle for something for now, at least for a few screens so I can move on to other things 😶‍🌫️

Since I also have a revenue goal for this challenge, I better start shifting my efforts to crafting the marketing materials 🤯

After that, I can do both the marketing and building until the end of the challenge 🫡

Just to clarify, my goal isn’t to complete the entire App in 30 days (though I would also love that) 🥰

But it’s about finishing the prototype where I attack the most challenging parts of the app 😵

After that, I’m hoping it’s gonna be a walk in the park until public launch 😇

Aside you exploring what will you do in your app.

Somehow, i appreciate the consistency and focus in doing and updating everything in this blog everyday. I just wish I have that persistence, inspiration and discipline to write consistently. I also have a page but not been active for a long long time because I don’t know or simply I’m not in the mood to post or write hahaha, but know that at one point you display a source of encouragement, and so encouraging you to continue what you’re doing already as you don’t know the impact of your passion and output to your audience ☺️

Thank you Zel! this means a lot to me.

I hope you could also write that post soon. You don’t need to overwhelm yourself with a daily posting. You can do 1 post a week, or even 1 post a month, or just a daily posting for 30-days like what I’m doing (short-term commitment). It also helps that you post it where others can read, so you’re not only accountable to yourself, but also accountable to the world that you have to post, haha

Actually, the one that I mentioned above, I happened to share it with a friend, and while sharing it, she also reflected, only to find out that she used to have a page as well and got inspired to the point that she backtracked all of her posts, which led her back to her old self, which is very timely for the situations and mindset that she has now vs. before. So see how that passion from you radiates and is passed on to others without your direct intent to do it. ☺️

This is great to hear! Thanks for sharing 😊

These testimonies are the reason why I’m building the app, so it can help people get in touch with their dreams. I’m glad it’s already making an impact, even just by writing about it, haha. This inspires me to keep writing more.

          Keep on passing the fire!

Though, as a marketing practitioner, you may consider revisiting the platforms, because yes, I know for a fact that in the IT industry, having a blog is a good platform to showcase portfolios and stuff, but proven effective and powerful marketing platforms and tools are in social media, and so, you may want to consider having a page as well, as the audience is large and the speed of reaching them is quick and real-time, hence it may easily get a long-range reach. Like echoing this blog on that page, the page is just an extension for reach and engagements, hence the marketing platform of this end product.
