Nothing to read here unless…
You also want to know what happened during my trip
It’s a Friday long weekend rush hour afternoon, so rather than waiting for 16 minutes for a Grab Car to pick us up and drive us back through traffic, we had no choice but to squeeze into the MRT during its most crowded time if we wanted to catch our bus ride
The bus terminal was also crowded with many people going to the provinces because of the long weekend. Thankfully, we reserved ahead of time and the bus was able to leave around 7 PM
We arrived at the venue around 6 AM, directly off the bus. I took a bath, then a nap while seated on a chair, and then proceeded with the day to celebrate the most important life event – the Rite of the Solemn and Perpetual Profession of Vows – of a family member whom I had not seen for a very long time because of her ministerial duties. I do have my own set of beliefs, but this is another story for another day
I brought my workstation, but I couldn’t work on anything because I couldn’t find time. Today is family time, so I should have expected this and left it behind to make my travel a bit lighter
After the event, it was time to head back to Manila. I was shocked to see that many others were also heading back, and the buses were now offering center seats. We waited until we found comfortable seats, ending the day and returning back to the challenge
No more big events in around two weeks, so I’m hoping I can now build momentum as we enter the final weeks of the challenge
