Day 11 of 30 – The Sleep

I feel unproductiveโ€ฆ

Sleepy. The live WWDC is at 1 AM in our timezone, so the watch party ended at around 3 AM

I was able to sleep around 4 AM, but then my body clock woke me up around 7 AM

I tried to resume my sleep, but I couldnโ€™t, so I just got up from bed and started the day feeling groggy with just around 3 hours of sleep

The coffee helped for a while. I tried to take a nap here and there, but just couldnโ€™t seem to get a satisfactory power nap. My excitement for the new tech was just way too high to calm my nerves to sleep

All I did the entire day was watch, eat, and sleep, haha

Maybe I should not watch the WWDC live anymore as it disrupts my sleep pattern? Well, I stopped watching WWDC live for a time now, but the watch party experience this time was just too hard to resist ๐Ÿ˜œ

Anyway, I was able to install the latest developer betas in my phone and watch, update some parts of the video trailer, and also finish the WWDC Platforms State of the Union (PSU/SOTU)(which dives deeper into the technical side of things). Maybe the day wasn’t that bad after all

In the PSU, They have shared the Adapter pattern used in the Apple Intelligence. Rather than relying on different fine-tuned AI models, they use one foundation model, and then able to overlay and hot swap a fine-tuned model on top of it, so the AI model can specialize depending on the requirement without needing a variety of large models

Sadly, Apple intelligence wonโ€™t be coming until later this year so I have to resort to my backup plan

I don’t want to over-engineer, but my architecture should be able to support changing the AI provider at any time because of the circumstances

Life is also starting to take a big chunk off my time from the challenge, so having the app right now in my hands would really be handy, get it? haha

If interested in the app, the Founderโ€™s Pass will be at its lowest price now (it will only go up from there ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Tomorrow, I’ll share how life is taking over
