Hi everyone,
First of all, thank you for your interest in Y-Verse! I will strive to deliver you the best app I can ever make
Welcome to the Y-Verse Waitlist / Weekly Updates โ but I’ll probably just turn this into my build in public weekly newsletter (I’m too lazy to maintain separate lists for different projects so I hope you don’t mind) and throw in some exclusives from time to time which includes the Demo Link to the Y-Verse app once available
Now that we’re done with the 30-day challenge which kickstarted this Y-Verse journey, we’ll continue the updates in the form of this newsletter which we’ll call The Weekly Verse
I started this week with a vacation (continuation from last days of June)
After returning from vacation, I reviewed how I can manage all my other goals this July, including the upcoming release of my book, upcoming talk in Bacolod, Buildspace demo day, and my entry to the Gemini API competition (which you guessed it, Y-Verse)
I created a poster detailing the Y-Verse milestones (Kickstarter Format) which you can find in the Gumroad Page. I think the graphics does help in grabbing some attention
I’ve also explored ways to develop the Android version of the app. I used skip.tools to create the one below, which lets me use Swift/SwiftUI to build natively in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose. My only concern with this one is you have to pay a subscription fee (no FREE tier), and not all SwiftUI components are fully supported yet
That’s it for this week, let me know what you think of this new format
Cheers and have a great day!
